Raphael Yoshitomi was born in Zurich. After a couple of years of studies at Zurich University, he quits his student life to follow his creative career. He discovers pleasure taking pictures and leaves Switzerland in 1996 to start a class at Speos Photographic Institute in Paris. 1997-1999, assisting André Rau and other fashion photographers to put theory into experience. Since 2001, he works as an independant photographer in Paris focussing on fashion and beauty photography.
